Seeking comedic actors with strong improvisational skills for a summer offering at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Upon signing of Walt Disney World Individual Employment Contract, candidates are eligible to immediately apply for membership in Actor's Equity Association.

Performers employed by the Walt Disney World Resort are covered under the terms and conditions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement with Actors' Equity Association.

Seeking performers for the following role:

To Be Announced: Male and Female Actors to portray passionate and enthusiastic comic book super fans. She/He is personable and energetic, and enjoys engaging total strangers to discuss all things concerning the details of their fandom.

Performers should have experience in interactive improvisational performance and must be able to captivate audiences. Knowledge of actual comic, superhero or fantasy characters is not required as the ability to improvise is paramount.

Requirements:

-Performers must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.
-Prepare a one minute comedic monologue.
-Call back by appointment and are held on Friday, April 13, 2018.

"The Canterville ghost" (A play, based on the story by Oscar Wilde)

Synopsis:
A no-nonsense American family buys a 500-year-old mansion in rural England, scoffing at warnings of a fierce resident ghost. The spirited (and skeptical) Americans - Mother, Father, young Virginia, and her mischievous little twin brothers - find their match in the equally spirited and clever ghost, who is determined to scare them away. Will they go, or will the ghost?

Production: Six performances July 27-August 4, 2018.

Rehearsals will begin the week of May 14th and will scheduled according to cast availability.

Audition will consist of cold readings from the script.
